Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield

A plane transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down following standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the first time that a American defense plane transporting a senior official has suffered equipment failures.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after encountering a technical issue.
