Labuschagne Omitted from Australian One-Day International Squad to Face India
Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from Australia's three-match ODI series facing India, as high-performing Queensland teammate Matt Renshaw receiving a shock selection.
Recent Form Result in Omission
The right-hander was left out from the one-day international side after scoring just one run in each of his two innings during the top-end series against South Africa in August. The right-hander has a top score of 47 in his most recent ten ODI innings.
The 31-year-old has featured in 68 one-day internationals and scored 1,871 ODI runs at an average of 34.64 runs per dismissal, but will now work towards a Test team comeback in time for the Ashes beginning in Perth on November 21.

Labuschagne has shown signs of a improvement in form with a score of 160 for Queensland in the Sheffield Shield this week, while Renshaw made a century for the Bulls in the identical match against Tasmania.

Australia’s three-game ODI series against India starts on October 19 in Perth, before the rivals play five T20 internationals from 29 October.
